As you know, my friend Gino Little received a summons to claim moral damages (50 000 € ...), some statements in written and spoken on the issue of the plant biomass of Canale d'Alba. On March 23, will be held the first hearing, but we believe that this debate in court is a bad idea because it dangerously divide the citizens of Channel and its two "sides" Gino's supporters and supporters of the Vigolungo. We therefore thought that "common sense" should and could lead to ensure that the company withdraw its lawsuit and that is why we have prepared a document to be submitted shortly to the company itself. Dear Vigolungo SpA Canale (Cuneo) Stim.mo Mr Peter Vigolungo Canale (Cuneo) and, for information: National Movement to Stop Gino land consumption Little Canale (Cuneo) Subject: Request for withdrawal of legal action against Mr Little Gino by the company and Mr. Peter Vigolungo SpA Vigolungo. The undersigned citizens wishing to formally ask the company and Mr. Peter Vigolungo Vigolungo SpA's request to withdraw the lawsuit they brought against Gino Little (the first signatory of the manifesto of the National Movement Stop the use of the land *), in on the case concerning the project a biomass plant in Canale. Our request will simply invite the cancellation of a judicial process that we consider useful (for all parties) to avoid, for a number of reasons that we try to summarize briefly:
- Little Gino is a person known for decades for its altruism and for his "belief" social and environmental. Very difficult to suppose that behind his positions can conceal personal interests or ambitions.
- In each channel of the plant, Gino Little has not played any role of leadership but it has always publicly expressed - both verbally as in writing - as a simple citizen. In our opinion and in the opinion of our lawyers, claims he challenged through summons does not contain slander, libel, false but simple deductions of general and particular that we can not be considered as acts of "intentional" and as the free expression of a citizenry that considers the essential role of the search box in every aspect of our daily lives.
- The critical reaction of third-Channel and around the news of the proposed biomass plant, has been numerically adhesion so wide that if indeed this was the "product" of the words of Gino Scarsi we are faced with a situation proselytizing mass at the edge of fanaticism. What definitely not credible ... We also remind you that the problem of biomass power plant has seen a civil debate and exemplary, with attentive participation of citizens of all ages and walks of life, a pragmatic debate without preconceptions and ideologies without violence of any kind, based on technical considerations and consequential.
- Authorisation for the construction of the plant biomass was denied by the Conference of the Services issued by the Province of Cuneo and not by Gino Little or some "eco-terrorist" (definition - very unpleasant and firmly reject - used in the summons by Legal Vigolungo).
After the autonomous decision of the Conference of Services, the summons sounds like the desire to silence the voices at all costs and free thinking minds of civil society. This is serious and want to invite you to think carefully about the situation that is likely to result. That is not a division that will benefit no one and, moreover, in a small country. In the purest style of acting nonviolence (which features both our model and is one of his Little Gino) we're not interested in further stoke the fire of a needless controversy, but we are not available to accept that one of us can be "dressed" the role of scapegoat. For this reason, we hope that legal action may be brought by you by you immediately withdrawn and that, therefore, will close the event with neither winners nor losers, "make do" with each other that prevailed in the general interest ...
