Channel: biomass power plant, meeting Saturday morning
The Committee is aware Roero (born in February 2010 with the aim of sensitizing the people and municipalities on issues of particular interest), in collaboration with the Consortium for Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe and Roero and the Federation of Coldiretti Alba , organized March 20, 2010 at 10, at the Enoteca Regionale del Roero in Canale, a meeting of presentation of the information held in the municipalities of Roero since February 2010. The course promoted led to important results: · Three information meetings organized by the Committee, in collaboration with organizations and associations in the country (Cisterna d'Asti February 18, 2010, Channel February 26, 2010, Vezza d'Alba on 11 March 2010). These meetings have attracted the interest of many (more than 200 people in Cisterna, more than 300 per channel, more than 200 in Vezza) and have stimulated the design of more moments of debate on territory held by the Municipal Administrations (San Damiano on 19 March 2010); · the realization of a web http://roeroconsapevole.blogspot.com , which is published in real time, the documentation produced, and are favorites insights related to the topic · the realization of a group on Facebook ( http://www.facebook.com/ # / group.php? gid = 264361551896), which has now more than 600 members, who have the opportunity to express their views and discuss on · to collect signatures in the town of Canal and in the neighboring towns. This intense activity which led to the direct involvement of the civilian population and the consequent awareness with respect to the possibilities that each citizen has to be active in decisions that affect the present and the future of the area, has been documented and is available to citizens on the web spaces above. Full documentation will be officially handed over to the authorities of Canal and surrounding municipalities, members of the Municipal Commission on biomass, to the representatives of associations, as well as candidates in the upcoming regional elections that will take part in the meeting. The opportunity will allow the Committee to envisage a plan for a joint solution of the problem, in agreement with the political parties, directly involving those who have been elected (and who will be elected) to protect the health, work and more generally the territory as a 'common good'. It 'important that people know what are the ideas about the spatial and environmental policies of directors and local candidates to lead our region in the coming years. To this end, at the end of all those present (with adjustable time) can express their views in relation the theme. The results will be communicated by the Committee to all citizens of the territory and to the press.
