The evening was planned in collaboration with the "Roero Aware", born in February 2010 pursuant to the need expressed by many citizens of the Roero, to have information about the project involves the construction of the plant . The members constituting the committee are mostly young and come from all the countries surrounding the Roero Channel. To meet the information needs, the group has opened a space on Facebook and a blog: http://roeroconsapevole.blogspot.com/ .

Invited: The Company Vigolungo Plywood Administration Channel. Moderator of the evening: Marco Devecchi (President of the Centre for Landscape el'Astigiano Monferrato).
The evening will be an opportunity, addressed to cisternesi and residents of neighboring municipalities, to understand what the implications will be determined by the construction of a biomass power plant in the Roero. E 'promoted by a cultural association that twenty years has been "on" and "with" the territory in order not only to preserve the material culture of the same, but also to promote it.
The "memory of the past as a tool for future growth" was the theme that guided the planning of the Association Museum, which aims to protect not only the objects collected in the museum collection, but also the territory. Founded in 1980, during the last thirty years the Association has been able to interact with other structures on the territory: from supporting projects Ruella Costanzo (who joining forces operating in the area, has created in the early 90, the path S1, a documentary and a film about Roero), collaborations with the Museum Network Monferrato Roero, the Enoteca del Roero Roero Rocche el'Ecomuseo.
With the support of the City of Cisterna and the Province of Asti (which contribute to the opening week of the collection), the Museum, with seven thousand visitors year, has become a major tourist attraction in the area between the Asti el'Albese.
Quite a number of projects, the latest, the Living Museum of the Rocche del Roero, has seen cooperation in the publication of the book "Our Heritage. Children tell the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero, edited by Sergio Conti, Councillor for Territorial Policies of the Piedmont Region, The book, prepared for the UNESCO application areas of wine, was presented at a conference at the Castle Tanker on the theme: ECONOMY AND PROTECTION OF THE LANDSCAPE: A BALANCE AND 'POSSIBLE?, October 25, 2009, in collaboration with the Polo Cittattiva for Asti el'Albese.
Four months later, the landscape once again becomes the central argument for the construction of a biomass power plant, like any other project that leads to changes in the landscape of the Roero, calls into question the lines of territorial development on which the projects are articulated both the museum and that of other cultural, economic and social territory. Lines are not encoded by any document, partly because of the presence of two provinces, but defined by the traditional peasant common sense "that interprets the territory in terms of" good common. "
Decisions on the implementation of this power plant can not fail to involve those who inhabit the territory, even if outside province. The landscape knows no boundaries, so even those living in "the hills in front of" have the right to be informed of the consequences that will have a project that will, apparently, an amendment of these places, not only from the aesthetic point of view.
